Design that moves your projects forward.

Elements works behind the scenes as an extension of your sales and production team — handling the design work so you can stay focused on the field.

How we work

Discover + Define
Analyze + Conceptualize
Refine + Resolve
Document + Present

Every project follows a structured sequence. Each phase builds on the last, keeps you informed, and produces work that's ready to use — in client meetings, in the field, and in your bids.

01Discover + Define

Discovery + Design Direction

We start by understanding the project before we start designing it. That means reviewing client conversations, site information, surveys, GIS data, inspiration images and project goals. From there we identify the central design problem and establish a clear visual and functional direction — so every decision that follows has a reason behind it.

  • Client brief and conversation review
  • Site data, surveys and GIS analysis
  • Inspiration and style direction
  • Design problem definition
02Analyze + Conceptualize

Site Analysis + Concept Design

We study how the property works — circulation, grading, architecture, views, privacy, existing conditions and how the space will actually be used. Then we develop an initial concept that organizes the major spaces and establishes the overall composition. This is where the project gets its structure.

  • Circulation and grading analysis
  • Architectural and site context review
  • Privacy, views and use patterns
  • Initial concept and spatial organization
03Refine + Resolve

Design Development

The concept moves through a structured series of drafts and feedback rounds. Each revision adds clarity, resolves details and keeps you involved in the decisions that affect scope, budget and constructability. Nothing moves forward without your input — and nothing gets lost between rounds.

  • Structured revision rounds
  • Scope and budget alignment
  • Constructability review
  • Contractor feedback at every stage
04Document + Present

Final Design Package

The completed design gives you everything you need to present the project clearly and move it forward confidently. Deliverables are organized, labeled and ready — whether you're closing a sale, handing off to a crew or submitting for permits.

  • Refined master plan
  • Material callouts and palette
  • Planting direction
  • Presentation-ready graphics

Additional support

Optional production services

Some projects need more than a design package. We can scope additional support based on what your project requires.

3D Visualization

Rendered perspectives and walkthroughs that help clients see the project before it's built.

Construction Documents

Detailed drawing sets with dimensions, notes and specifications ready for the field or permit submission.

Planting Plans

Species selection, spacing, quantities and seasonal interest — organized for installation.

Material Specifications

Detailed callouts, product references and finish notes that reduce ambiguity in the field.

Quantity Takeoffs

Material and plant quantities pulled directly from the design to support accurate estimating.

Permit Drawing Sets

Code-compliant packages for jurisdictions that require reviewed or stamped landscape plans.

Ongoing design partnership

Your design department, without the overhead.

Contractors can engage Elements for a single project or as a recurring design partner. Over time, a consistent relationship means faster turnaround, fewer alignment conversations and a deeper understanding of your standards, your market and the construction methods your crews prefer. You stay in control of the work — we carry the design load.

More than a design handoff

Judgment, dialogue and a visible process.

A lot of outsourced design is a black box — you send a brief and get files back. That's not how we work. Elements brings design judgment to every project: we ask the right questions, flag the issues worth flagging and keep the process visible so you always know where things stand. You stay informed and in control without having to personally carry every design task.
